Planeswalked - Malaysia part 4

YAY back in Malaysia, Ok not today but i just woke up today, after returning from the Legend of 5 Rings Kotei Tournament in Comics Corner Damansara Jaya.
Due to Lack of practice and preparation, I wasn't able to obtain any of the coveted Top 8 Spots.
Settled down with an Honor Victory for the Phoenix though :) with wat was voted the best costume for the day :)

Planeswalked - Singapore - Part 3

Today being the last day i'm in Singapore, I've decided to go scout out all remaining shops that i've missed..
As I've run out of cash to be taking the MRT, no thanks to the MRT guy getting me on the wrong station(i'm sure he means the best for me) I had to walk my way from Outram Park interchange all the way to Jln Bukit Merah.

Planeswalked - Singapore - Part 2

2nd day in Singapore.. been walking up and down the streets the whole day :)
true to their word, gathering zone was not open today either.
just like awakening zone.. it has eluded me.. :(
oh well nonetheless summary of findings for the day :)
the shop in chua chu kang is closed, apparently it has been for a while.
later in Tee Yew, I found that the card shop over there is only selling boosters, like comic connection in Lot 1 Choa chu Kang.
Later, after heading down to Yew Tee. I headed off to Bishan to find Asia Cards Shop, owned by Zack Lim.
A niche little shop in the residential area of Bishan, they have interesting practices and nice players who are interested in both standard and extended fare :)

Later I head to Cardmasters in the Clementi region, a shop owned by a guy named milton, too bad he wasn't around.
Had an opportunity to meet Wynne(hopefully got his name right) and Harry, 2 very nice folks who were nice to talk to :)

as for tomoro, will be heading down to Mag strength marketing in bukit merah :)
hopefully they'll have players there too :)

Singapore Peddling Day 1

There are a few places that have MTG in Singapore that has come to my notice,

• Choa Chu Kang's Avenue 3
• Gathering Zone, Yishun
• Yew Tee
• Hobby SG, Katong Plaza
• Asia Cards Shop, Bishan
• Mag-Strength Bukit Merah

Amongst these, the planeswalker has visited the one in Choa Chu Kang and found it to be what looks like the remnants of a tuition center. (Or it could be a tuition center now, or I could have been misled :( which seems to be more likely)
Gathering Zone on the other hand, is closed till 18th of May, although no reasons were given as to why..

Tomorow, part 2 begins with the continuation of the hunt for the elusive breed of Singapore magic players hahahahahaha...
PS: no offense on the jokes though :S

Ladies and Gentlemen, the peddling planeswalker has arrived in Singapore 2 hours ago and is currently at City Hall.
He is now on the move to visit the local players in this plane to say hi and hopefully establish friendly connections :)

Introduction

While I do not call myself the best Magic The Gathering player around, a few people have been asking me to post up the basics of the game here. For people to read and refer :)

So I've obliged and shall start posting them once per week :)
The first post will be about LANDS!!! :) and it will start next week :)

Fellow Planeswalkers and daimyos, it has come to my attention during the tour that many people would like to see tips on how to play MTG/L5R placed on the site.
I would like some feedback on this matter as to how should it be posted, whether daily updates, weekly, single post or constant information?

The planeswalking peddler has just arrived home from his promo touring, he's tired, has a headache, but thoroughly enjoyed himself :)

PLANESWALKING PEDDLER 's PROMO TOUR PART 2

Due to high response from general public to the planeswalking peddler's Promo this afternoon at midvalley exhibition center, the planeswalking peddler has decided to run it again tomoro on the 2/5/2010.
However, this time the tour will feature a slight change in the prizes of the tournament.
The prize will still be equivalent to RM 50, but it will not be in the form of Cash.

Forgive me for the short post, the peddler is really tired out and would like to rest..
