Dear All, we at the Planeswalking Tavern would like to wish you all well and Selamat Berpuasa to all of you as the fasting month approaches in a couple of days. Throughout the Fasting month, we will still be open at usual hours and we will have buka puasa and sahur sessions too :)

M13 Launch League!!

Ladies and Gentlemen,
The Magic 2013 prerelease was quite a hauling success, a big THANK YOU goes out to those who made it to our quaint and dainty prerelease.
This weekend however, prepare yourselves to begin the month and a half long Launch Party League!!
There will be 4 draft sessions split up this Friday, Saturday and Sunday (13-15th of July)
Entry Fee: RM 45
Prize structure: 4-3-3-3-2-2-2-2
After the initial Launch draft, the cards that were given out through the draft will become the pool in which the players will use throughout a one month league.
The League will take place every Sunday, where players are required to Buy a booster pack for their attendance to be taken.
Those who have full attendance will qualify for the Prizes

Magic: The Gathering – Magic 2013

ime for a question: how many cards in the Magic 2013 are reprints? If you said half, then you are dead on the target.

Magic 2013 is this year’s Core Set and along with it are some pretty wicked reprints from bygone eras. Case in point, the mechanic ‘exalted’.

Exalted means that if you attack with only one creature, that creature gets a power/toughness bonus. That is all.

If you have three Aven Squires on the battlefield and you attack with only one, that single Squire will gain +3 power and +3 toughness, since there are three exalted abilities backing it up, including its own exalted ability.
