The Planeswalking Tavern: Introduction, Part 1

This is a series of vignettes centred around a fictional Tavern in the Magic Multiverse.


DUSK. A fine time for a bit of a smoke, accompanied by red wine and roasted duck.

A flock of weary adventurers strode into The Tavern, armed to the teeth with gold and silver, seeking out the finest lodging they could find tonight. An attendant tended to their needs and promptly led the group up to the available rooms.

Board Games Monday

Ladies and Gentlemen, The Tavern is proud to announce that they will be offering board games for sale and for play in the Tavern premises starting today.
To assist with costing, there will be a charge of RM 5 per player per day (includes 1 free drink) to sit in the Tavern from 2pm to 12 midnight to play any amount of games they wish.

Board Games:

Daily from 2pm to midnight
Charges: RM5 per day includes free drink
