Dark Ascension

The Rafters of neighboring buildings scream vividly as the winds pick up and strain them against their struts.
Its barely 2 minutes past midnight and what was once a still night rapidly became turbulent. It is the night of the Hunter's Moon in Innistrad and the wards grow weaker as the night darkens around all Human Civilizations. The fires of Avacyn are beginning to gutter as the forces of darkness start overpowering humans civilization by civilization.

Planeswalkers, how would you fare in this plight? will you once again take up the side of the underdog? or would the temptations of greed and power pull you to support the darkness that surrounds Innistrad?

Entry Fee: (RM 75 first session RM 70 following sessions)
Prize structure: 6,4,2,1
First session: Friday Midnight (0000hrs on Saturday morning 28/1/12)

Second Session: Saturday Afternoon 3pm (28/1/12)

Third Session: Saturday Night 9pm (28/1/12)

Fourth Session: Sunday Afternoon 3pm (29/1/12)

Not to mention that there will be Angpaus given out on event days, if u're lucky u might get the BIG One!! :)

The Planeswalking Tavern: Bring On the New Era

This is a series of vignettes centred around a fictional Tavern in the Magic Multiverse.

 

“HOW deep is your trust in Destiny?” the soothsayer asked. “Do you think you can outrun it? Do you think you can alter Fate when Fate has spoken?”

The visitor to the soothsayer’s tent dropped another coin onto the saucer with the words, “Just tell me what I want to know.”

“I am a servant of Destiny,” replied the man of clairvoyance. “Do not mistake my abilities as those that are subservient to mortal lives.”

The visitor dropped another coin onto the saucer, saying, “You’re not helping.”

A sigh escaped the soothsayer, making him shake his head. But he did say, “Very well. I bend Fate to your insignificant whim.”

The visitor now smiled and adjusted his blazer so that he was more comfortable.

Tavern Closed for New Years

The Tavern will be closed for the New Years day Festivities on the 1st of January and also for the Chinese new year holidays on the Chinese New Year Holidays on the 21st of January till the 26th of January.
